Oconee County is in South Carolina. South Carolina is generally hot and humid in the summer, but varies by location in the winter. The coastal region has very mild temperatures in the winter, with colder temperatures further inland. Most of the state receives little snow, but the northwestern upstate occasionally turns into a winter wonderland with the bulk of the snowfall.
